Windoids Setup: |
You want to first install the OpenAL SDK.
I keep a local copy here. Next, install the Windows binary distribution. This gets the many support files in the correct place.
Next fetch the source as per the install page. I recommend fetching via cvs. When you execute a program in the debugger, you must point the startup location to your XPilot install dir. On Windows, the directory a program is in when it starts is important.
Linux Setup: | Just choose one of the installation methods from the
install
page. After a make install the programs will be able to find the support files and directories
because this information is compiled into the programs.
| |
Resources: |
There is a cvsweb view of the source
with pretty graphs and reports. There is a developers discussion list (which is obsolete, we prefer discussion in xpilot-hacks).
Obsolete: |
The original bug list and the original todo list are replaced by Bugzilla. |
